Now we give below an introduction (or a
general background) to the sublime ancient Hindu philosophy-–the basis for the beautiful
and highly poetic and highly moral ancient Hindu mythology —is given below . It
is given not only to acquaint children with stories of the gods but also to
provide introduction on Hindu philosophy to the new generations who have very
hazy and half-formed knowledge of the highly moral, spiritualistic and
other-worldly philosophy. The philosophy underlies almost the entire Hindu
traditional literature of the last 2000 years. The philosophy underlies
too the peerless mythological works Ramayana and Mahabharata.
Beyond even this ancient Hindu philosophy lies
the “ancient Vedic Aryan philosophy of soul”. It is a philosophy declaring that
the great god almighty lives inside every human body in the shape of the
immortal soul .It is among the oldest philosophies of the world and
stresses the absolute necessity of a highly moral spirituality-oriented
life to ensure that the soul of a person finally get a permanent
place on god almighty’s highest heaven.
We can also say that the conclusions/ dilemmas
at the end of both philosophy and modern science —the science of Newton
and Einstein and the science of Electron are similar. The
Space-Time theories of both science and philosophy speak of (a) thousands of
billions of kilometers of endless Space, (b) thousands of billions of years of
endless Time and ( c )about the endless cycle of creation of universe and
destruction of universe occurring in cycles of time measured in periods
thousands of billions of years. In Hindu philosophy there is a term which well
describes this situation—“Maya” or “The Grand illusion.”
