V8-BEAUTIFUL NATURE IS GOD ALMIGHTY’S ANOTHER FORM

Hindu philosophy also tells of most beautiful human-like gods for elements of Nature–  the  God of Fire,  God of Winds, God of Rain, God of Mountains, God of Oceans etc .Many ancient religions had such worship of elements of nature as the basis  and beginning for religion. They are all gods of extreme beauty shining in gold and diamond crowns and wearing dazzling jewels and are majestic personalities of mighty strength and great holiness. Lord Indra is the king of Heaven. Lord Skanda, son of Lord Shiva, is commander-in-chief  of Lord Indra’s armies in heaven.

Note :It should be remembered these are all gorgeous forms of  the one god almighty of the universe. The one god almighty of the universe with his incomprehensible mystic powers divides his holy form in a moment  into such different forms for special purpose  and can again  merge them into himself in a moment.

 

The Ramayana-Mahabharata  mythology ( or more correctly the Ramayana-Mahabharata  religion)  contains  all these ideas stressing that  everything in the world is holy . The  sublime philosophy  helped during the last 3000 years in  imparting a feeling of respect for nature and for keeping high spirituality among traditional Hindus  irrespective of caste and race. This philosophy treats  this material world as just only a mirage and the beautiful world of gods as the real world . It is a very optimistic philosophy treating human life from a spiritual view point.

“Levels” Of Divinity In Different Eras In Earth’s History

The Hindu philosophers have also a nice “Time Scale” for measuring level of morality, spirituality and divinity in any age in history. However it is applied only to very ancient times when gods could come down from heaven and visit earth. They divided time into different eras each of “millions or billions  of years”.

On this scale untold million years ago in the first era there was on the earth 100% goodness and holiness, morality and spirituality. Gods could visit the earth frequently in person and also whenever they pleased. The earth was very holy just as in heaven.

After millions of years the second era began. Goodness on earth decreased to “90%”. There were many demons. God almighty of universe was born as Lord Rama. He killed many wicked and powerful demons because they refused to follow the path of virtue. He was a most gentle, kind hearted, saintly philosophic prince. In his reign of ten thousand years his kingdom resembled the kingdom of gods.

 Next after further “millions” of years goodness on the earth further decreased and it came down to “80%”. There was much more wickedness in the world and more demoniac persons and demoniac princes and demoniac kings appeared on earth. In this era god almighty appeared as Lord Krishna the tough talking and tough acting world conqueror. He pursued and exterminated demons, demoniac kings and demoniac princes without pity. He established rule of law and atmosphere of great culture with an iron hand. He defined and enforced high ethical and spiritual values for kings and princes. But he was also one of the world’s greatest philosopher-princes. He was a sage-like sublime philosopher   like Lord Rama. He had a flower-like sensitivity and a child-like heart.

It is said that we are in a last era after passing of “ more million of years” after the above eras. We are now in a turbulent era of wars , coups, revolutions etc. But philosophers optimistically say that the world of men will again be purified and golden days will come.

Each boulder may perhaps be fifty meters long and only a little less wide! At some places two or three small room-size boulders are stacked one above the other by nature. Seeing the stacked boulders every person wonders how such gigantic stones were lifted at all. No humans can lift them. Simple rural people feel that it is nothing but one of god's great visible miracles. Scientists say that such hills are among the oldest hill types in the world and were created hundreds of millions of years ago. Scientists say that age of earth may be around 4500 million years i.e. 450 crore years! At that early time, the outer stone layers of earth (crust layers) were very soft like wheat flour dough but extremely hot.
