The story has
almost come to an end . But new difficulties arise. The most cruel and mighty
king Ravana who heard of the great beauty of princess Sita decided to kidnap
her. He was already angry with prince Rama who killed a number of his big
generals for their evil deeds.
The mighty
warrior and cruel king ravana implemented his plan after ordering his unwilling
minister to assist. He came to the forest abode of prince rama in the garb of a holy ascetic when
princes Rama and Laxmana were away and kidnaps the ascetic-minded e princess.
He forcibly takes her in his magical golden chariot
to his faraway island kingdom flying through the sky and imprisons her in the
royal garden gaured every minute by women . when the fearsome king ravana approaches her
commanding her to become his queen, pricess sita using her divine ascetic power
ignites holy fire all around her and king ravana was unable to go near her.
Here ther is a
small story. King ravana too was a
mighty warrior with unlimited magical weapons and had capacity to conquer the
iniverse. He had a plan to defeat the gods and conquer their world. The gods
requested lord Vishnu (the almighty of universe ) to save them . lord Vishnu
assured them to be born as prince rama. The gods deliberately created the incident of
kidnapping of Princess Sita to provoke prince Rama to go all the way to ravana’s kingdom and
eliminate him.
Now to the main
narration. Prince Rama on realizing that his beloved queen was kidnaped by the cruel and ferocious king ravana
felt extremely sad and dejected and was quite unable to bear her separation .
Though being a calm philosophic person he became very agitated like any human
being . he seethed with anger saying
that he would destroy the three worlds if princess Sita was not given back to him safely. Only after some time he
suppresses his grief and anger after prince laxmana consoles him.
He and prince Laxmana searched widely in the
forest and soon befriended a king of the forest tribes sugriva . The king was
all praise for prince Rama and was greatly impressed by prince Rama’s extraordinary
and divine martial skills . He puts his huge armies at disposal of prince Rama
and directed his generals to proceed to all corners of earth and search for the
princess Sita. Prince Rama also befriends Hanuman a great and wise minister of
the king .
Hanuman was also one of the world’s greatest
warriors and also a saintly person and becomes a lifelong friend and companion
and admirer of Lord Rama. He helps Lord Rama in many ways—in finding
whereabouts of princess Sita and helping in the later ferocious war with the
cruel Ravana.
With all this help lord Rama planned in detail
to cross the sea channel and invade the cruel Ravana’s kingdom without any
delay. Seeing Prince Rama’s anger even the mighty sea god was frightened . He
suggests to prince Rama to arrange for dropping of millions of boulders and
trees into the sea and to take the help of the million strong army of the tribal king .
The sea god created a strong floating bridge
up to Ravana's kingdom . The cruel king Ravana had a very pious younger brother named Vibhishana who heard of the noble and ascetic
prince Rama and tried to convince his brother ravana to realize his
mistakes and return princess sitha to king rama. King ravana instead of
examining vibhishana’s advice kicks him out of the kingdom.
Vibhishana comes
flying in the sky doe to his magical powers and comes to king Rama’s camp and asked for asylum .. King Ravana was a
mighty warrior whom even the gods feared.but king Ravana at last found a match
in lord Rama . Lord Rama enters Ravana’s city and fights a ferocious and prolonged war. Vibhishana reveals a great secret about quickly eliminating ravana without delay.
Ravana is killed and all the three worlds rejoice.
Now prince Rama ,in a way shocking to all his
admirers , refuses to accept queen Sita .The divine princess unable to bear
this shocking unexpected insult from her noble and ascetic minded husband jumps into a fire to kill herself. The great fire god himself
appears in his dazzling form, cools all the fires and personally escorts queen
Sita to her husband saying to Lord Rama respectfully that there never lived a
holier woman in universe than princess Sita. Only then prince Rama accepts her,
travels to Ayodhya and becomes the king and emperor. He rules on earth for ten
thousand years and rules in such a way that even the heavenly kingdom of gods
was no match for Lord Rama’s Ayodhya.

Now the great poet
valmiki who wrote Ramayana says that prince rama and his queen sitha were none
other than lord Vishnu and his queen goddess laxmi.they have to return to high
heaven . so thereis a further section in
Ramayana .once a person of ayodhya passes loose remarks making fun of lord rama and queen sitha .
king rama heard of it with great sorrow and contemplated. Though he was a kind and ascetic minded king and invincible
warrior, king rama was a cruel judge.to the consternationof all he banished his
pregnant queen to
The forest
hermitage of sage valmiki.at heart king rama feels utterly devastated and
curses himself.there the sage looks after queen seethe as his daughter and
tells every body in the hermitages that
she was a goddess from heaven. After years her two sons grow up as mighty
warriors. Once they detain the royal sacrificial horse of king rama. A small battle ensues. The
three brothers of lord rama and their armies are defeated by the royal
brothers. Then king rama hiself comes and a fietce battle ensues and shakes the
world. At that time the saintly minister hanuman comes there attracted by magic
name of lord rama. He is terrified and brings quuen seethe from the nearby
hermitage of sage valmiki. Both king rama and quuen seethe are transfixed and
become speech less with emotion. The ascetic minister hanuman introduces the
children to their father king rama and also introces the children to king rama.
All are overwhelmed with emotion.
Meanwhile there
are earth quakes and blinding lightnings . the earth widens and queen sitha’s
heavenly mother the goddess earth comes and calls for seethe to come away into
her car. Queen seethe is confused---unable to lose her darling sons and go far
forever from her ascetic-minded husband whom in spite of his harshness she
still loves deep in her heart and feels for the great torture he was undergoing
every moment for his harsh judgement
about seethe. Both rama and seethe had deeo love for each other. On another
side was her heavenly mother unable to bear her dear innocent daughter suffer
any more.
Queen seethe is
unable to decide but also bear her endless mountainous sorrow in her sojourn on
earth. Like a weeping little child she runs to her mother and falls into her
embrace. both sides watch in great sorrow for the eternal separation. king rama
was feeling devastated for this cruel
final separation . the children were weeping unconsolably for separation from
their dear innocent mother. shocked hanuman too is consolable with sorrow
seeing her running towards her divine mother and another son . goddess seethe
is confused but being unable to bear her
sorrow any more runs toward her mother and falls in to her embrace. As all feel
bewildered the chariot woth goddess earth and weeping queen seethe disappear
into earth and the earth closes. All earthquakes and storms subsided. Lord rama
remains on earth with his grown up sons. Consoled by his friend the saintly
follower hanuman rama returns to ayodhya
. soon to relinquish his throne and give to his sons king rama, admired by all word as saint and
adhering to high principles of morality and truthfulness , in due course disappears into heaven. There in lord Vishnu
and goddess seethe reunite to rule the spiritual universe forever looking
lovingly at welfare of all living beigs of universe.
